New 6x2x2 Setup

Here are some photos I took of the new setup and still waiting on a new 6ft Light so the smaller one has to do for now

The inhabitants are

8 F1 Tanzanite Frontosa

7 Syndontis Petricola

12 Electric Yellows

Filtration is

FX5 and oversize 4ft sump with 4500L/H flow rate

i like it :thumbup:

keep the 4 ft light for some reason it makes it look more "nature like" if that makes any sense

well you got my thorts i like it and dont stress on the lighting!!!! :thumbup::thumbup:

cant forget to mention the fish they look like there loving the decor / lighting aswell!!!

Love the combination of driftwood and the river stones.....great looking tank. Like the black b/g too.

Foti makes a good point about the lighting. It looks good and creates a more natural feel.

I agree, I've always loved the use of smaller lights on the larger display tanks. Plus the frontosas will prefer it that way rather then a full blown light.

How have you found your pH to be? I'd imagine the driftwood would have some affect on it?

thanks for the comments everyone and to answer your question the driftwood has had no effect on the pH what so ever. It remains at around 8.5.

I use coral in my sump and also the texas holey rocks helps with the buffering as well. :thumb
