Beardie
The four black suction cap things (usually on pumps, internal filters and heaters) which are on my 2000l/hr pump seem to have lost their suction so to speak after only about 4months of use. When i push them down onto the glass they have kind of lost their shape and dont hold. Just wondering if their is any trick to get them back to normal or should i just buy another set? GreekStylez
I reccomend you buy a new set. Although your best option would be to scrub the suctions free of any algae that may inhibit it's suction
Memphis Tank
just give em a big sloppy wet lick. works wonders if you tease it properly. hahahaha
Cichlids_au
I agree with Greekstylez, just dump them and get new ones. There not worth the hastle trying to fix them. You could heat them but they won't last long. And get ones with a soft rubber.
CThompson
Depending on where they are to be used, glue them on with silicone to. Obviously no good if you need them to come off from time to time, but for reasonable permanent fixture, silicone it! Or, as is suggested, replace it, just buy multiples so when it goes again you haven't got the added hassle of going out and searching for them.
