ViS
While looking around at display tank packages, I came across some Aqua Nova tank/stand/hood deals for a pretty good price. I'm especially looking at R1520 or R-1760 and would like some feedback on quality, reliability and what I should be paying for one Thanks for any help
Ben
I don't know anything about them but why not the 2008? Will you be getting two?

fongyfong
I had a aqua nova R1208 or something got it for a bargain 450 bucks brand new the 4 foot one with the stand lights filter and everything, and the tank did its job i had it for 1 year and half and no leaks at all, Before that i had a 2 footer(AQua nova NT620t) for about one year too and no problems at all no leaks, the only downside is the cabinet is not good quality as its made from chipboard. i remeber the shop where i got the 4 footer from was selling R1520(5 footer) and R1760(6 footer) for i think 905 and 950 each from memory including stand hood and filter lights, but this was very cheap price dont know if hes still selling it for that price but i saw alot of stores and they were no where near his price, cos it was a bargain but since your in QLD the prices could be different, so i say for the 5 footer around 1300 and 6 footer around 1400? is normal RRP, from what i seen from other LFS..... how much were they selling it at your LFS? Why dont you try reef ocotpus this brand http://www.reefoctopus.com.au/v2/pub/range...ED4A3DD86AB928F they come with a mini reef filter just about the same price but no lights, but i think better quality and the cabinet is better too a 5 footer curved should set you back around 1600 including mini reef, cabinet and hood. kingtiger
You just have to make sure you don't get the taller version of these all in one tank. As I know there has been a lot of fault on the curve/corner. For example, someone own a (Aqua *) the taller version (can't remember the model#) and it cracked right on the curve/corner from top to bottom during the night. This has happened a few time ready according to a shop owner. Cheers
