jmm99
Hello Everyone I am wanting to set up a Cichlid tank but I am space constrained. Went to LFS the largest tank that I can get would be a AR620T and was told this would be okay for Cichlids but I am concerned it will not be large enough I do not want to have to upgrade. Tank dimensions are 62x39x65cm capacity 130 litres, the link below contains some information. http://www.aquariumsdelivered.co.uk/catalo...t-set-p-37.html My question is will this tank be suitable? If so, which Cichlids would work in the limited space? Willing to accept that I can not get Cichlids if this tank is just not going to cut it, don't want fish to suffer. Any suggestions on alternative fish? Would also appreciate any feedback on this tank if anyone has experience with it, or alterntively suggestions on better tanks under 62 x 42 Many many thanks Jac
LetsTryOneMoreTime
What exactly did you want to keep?? This will give everyone here a better understanding of what you intend and give a better recommendation on if it was possible.
LetsTryOneMoreTime
meant to say, because cichlids is such a large family, there are hundreds of different species you can get with varying sizes that you may be able to keep in your tank... Not set on anything in particular... do not have any experience with Cichlids. Previous experience is with basic tropical setup rummy nose, platy’s etc. I want a variety of colourful cichlids that would work together and look lively. Sorry to sound completely useless but really that is my only specification.

krellious
pseudotrophues, labidichromus and a few smaller mbuna would work in there. Do some research, find a fish you like the look of and make sure it doesnt grow much over 13 cm and you can fit MAX 10 in there. get them as juvies so you have more time to enjoy them when they are small. genetik_defekt
In my opinion, i would NOT buy anything aquaone. Aquaone make absolute rubbish. Better off going to someone like ms aquariums and getting a standard 4 foot set up then buying this system. You probably went to strictly aquariums also a place i would buy nothing but frozen food. Aquaone are poor quality have a fairly high failure rate compared to things priced similar. this is just my experience with aquaone but yeah its up to you i suppose but in the end i think there are better options out there.
