Robbo2232
Hello Friends, I have just found out that my mother in law is getting her house sprayed, where I have a 4*2*2 full of south Americans, its located in a open planed kitchen / dining / living that will need to be sprayed, there is no chance of just leaving out that room. I was thinking about covering the hood or the top of the tank in glad wrap. turning off the air pump and leaving the spray bar out of the water to try and get some air in that way. What can I do so my poor fish don't die. Thanks
Freemason2250
Tell her to use the Gel, It's more effective and you won't have to cover your tank......It's what we use in the kitchen at work

azzah
I got my house done a few months ago for cockroaches and I told them I had fish tanks so they just used a powder and a gel. They didn't have to spray. If they say they only use sprays then I would look for someone else.
AzFish
avert gel works wonders. If they dont use a gel near the tanks, cover the tank with towels. Turn off all filters and only turn back on when the fumes have settled. Its not an ideal solution but I have had it done before with no loss of fish. Cannula
We took off the hoods, turned of the pumps and glad wrapped the tanks when we bombed our rental house.
