ViS
Love the Acarichthys heckelii I have a question. If you could only keep one spesies of eartheater, what would it be? I'm considering setting up a 6ft tank for a colony of eartheaters but every time i see people's pictures it makes me rethink what I was going to put in there. I was originally set on the orange head tapajos. Are there any others out there more impressive?

The orange heads IMO are just a tad to small, whch makes them lack that sense of elegance which the larger Geos seem to carry with themselves. Cheers, Richard. G. abalios, simply because I don't keep them at the moment. If I was to keep a shoal of a single species that I own currently, it would have to be the G. altifrons 'Tocantins'. Ditto on the Acarichthys heckelii the colour in the anal fin, especially in the first series of shots, is brilliant. I get the impression it's subjective and point of much debate, but a good question as I've also got a spot in my never soon to be completed fish room ear marked for an eartheater tank and am debating where to start as well.
