morrie
hi if i use dechlorinator in my tanks and ponds (as you do!) are any plants grown in them then rendered un fit for human consumption? some water conditiners carry a label warning not to eat fish from water where it has been used - i grow water cress, water spinach, chess nuts in my ponds but don't tend to use dechlorinator unless i do a big clean out - i am wanting to set a tank refugium based on edible plants ......... thanks ian
genetik_defekt
although it cant say definately. I would assume you would need to use the same dechlorinator as the commercial fish suppliers do. The one that is safe for human consumption. Im assuming anything in the water would be taken up by the root system of your plants/ nuts to some degree.
