kevy73
Last night - after fixing my light that hasn't been working for over a week, I am having a good look in my tank again only to find that my c. borleyi has its first mouthful. I would say that it would have only happened in the last week. Reading back through all the old posts, it seems the best thing to do is leave her for about 2 weeks, then move her to her own tank...... (that is gonna impress the wife, another bloody tank.) I have no idea how to milk, although a friend who is also the owner of the lfs does, is it worth milking or best to leave her be? Happy Happy Happy Happy! Cichlids_au
Well done Kev I try not to strip, as it is not always needed. If you are going to move her in about 2 weeks I would let release naturally. After she has you can move her back to her own tank
Guest Gutty
I found my Kandango to be very good parents. Especially the mums. She may swallow her first mouthful but in general you shouldn't have to strip them if you put her in her own tank.
