kilroy
As the title says, I'm in the process of organising shipping orders, and I need the required stickers on my foam boxes for AAE. Can anyone point me in the right direction on where to get them. The local AAE guy at Wagga has no idea. Thanks Shane
chorrylan
what... a black marking pen ain't good enough? :-) Are AAE telling you that you need them (you/they don't) or you'd just feel more comfortable if they were labeled nicely? AAE classify fish as perishables and based on my discussions with the guys at the local depot are handled no differently to any other perishables so while a nice "Live Fish" label looks pretty it has no meaning to them. To them "perishable" just means "needs to get from the sending depot to the receiving depot in no more than 24 hours", fragility, heat and cold sensitivity, whether it contains live fish, brocolli or your grandpas ashes etc etc is your concern not theirs. I just stickytape pieces of a4 paper to the top and side of the box and make sure that "up", the destination depot, mobile number of the sender and recipient are all clearly marked but that's mostly for my own comfort and to help just in case something goes wrong with their computer system. That said... the stickers do look nice and most boxes I send happen to have 'em but that's just 'cos I get my boxes from the LFS who in turn get them from bay or AI (and I have trained my LFS to understand that every time I take fish to 'em I will leave the box I brought them in and will take away 2 or 3 others.. even if I don't need 'em.. though I'd never admit that to them he he)
ViS
Just buy some sticker paper from officeworks and print out a few A4 sheets of them and cut them out
kilroy
Thanks for the responses. I was of the belief after reading another thread, that AAE were very particular about the way the boxes were packaged and labelled. Happy new year!
