curviceps
Hi there, I'd like your opinion on which brings out the orange colour of these geos best - Tetra Colourbits or NLS? Or what other food? Thanks
phatoscarlover
If all you want is to make them look more orange then Tetra Bits is the way to go, its a discus food so it contains more carotene than alot of other commercial foods. If you want the fish to be as healthy as possible id go for the NLS, its renowned as one of (if not the best) foods on the market which will increase the colour of your geo's but will take a little longer to show through (2-4 weeks). Personally, id go the NLS... Cheers Andy
Colfish
although tapa's are a geo, they do need a fair quantity of vege matter in their diet. a little tetra bits once a week would be fair, though there is simply no question as what their main diet should be. a tapa's colour naturally improves with age, feed them to grow, let them colour as they mature. force feeding fish for colour masks many poor breeding traits. leading to further deteriation of the species
