Richard
Hey all, Looks like Bayfish have some of these guys on offer at the moment. I am pretty sure they are not on the allowable import list, heck i have never even heard of them! Anyone care to share some light on them? I am going to check the prices and avaliability of these sometime this week. Cheers, Richard.

wolften
...definitely a species only tank, and more than likely just a pair. Have you seen the teeth on these suckers. I thought about getting a pair, WetPetz in Brisbane have a pair, somehow didn't think they would make good playmates for my yellow fin occies wolften

absolute_vodka01
There is an interesting artical in the last cichlid news. It was written by an australian breeder. There are a few around up here in QLD. From what I have heard they are nowhere as nasty as there brothers Ken and Elong. Adam

Eddie Salita
Adam is right. They arent as nasty as thier brethren. Nor are they as active. I think their go would be more like sit there like a stonefish waiting for their prey to swim past than pursue it with great bursts of speed out in the open. I have found them to be more and more inactive as they mature. Whereas the other lepidios I have/have had are more or less like always on the go. not hyper like trophius though. I think thier looks are more for the camouflage for the sit and wait technique cheers Jason
