kai
Hi guys, I'm after some advice with my jewel cichlids, they have started breeding and laid down alot of eggs on a flat piece of rock in my aquarium. Do i need to separate the parents from the eggs before they hatch? or is it ok and let nature take its course? thanks.
sicj
Leave them with the parents. They will look after theggs and the babys when they hatch. After around 2 weeks separate the babys in a fry saver. This is what i do and it works very well. John

Hi, Leave em alone, they tend to be really good parents, I have two olone in a tank, and the constantly breed!! Just make sure they're on their own, as my pair ripped apart a pair of convicts!! Once your pair start laying eggs again, they may eat up their other offspring.
