Richard
Unsure what it is mate but definately not a kingsizei, face shape looks completely different. Is it breeding with a female kingsizei there? Cheers, Richard.

Cheers, Richard. no with a female afra cobwe interestingly enough the male kingsizei will only try and breed with a female of the same, and so do the afra cobwe. There is a more dominant male in the tank. as for the purple it is in a tank that has a blue light... what do you think?

bishop
Definitely not a Cobwe. Cobwe are a much stockier than that fish, dominant males have the yellow head, a sub dominate male will show some yellow at times. Younger males and females are either brown or grey this fish is too blue.
ziad
Well the fish were moved to a new tank yesterday and since then he has become the top dog in the tank. I will give him 2 weeks to show some yellow on his head... if no change then he and his fry may well become fish food! thanks everyone for your help.
