10050460
Have anyone kept frontosa and geophagus together in the same tank? Is it possible? I have 8 geophagus about 15cms, thinking of getting some baby frontosa up to 10cm
mcsx
ive seen it done but they both live in totally different environments, water perameters are totally different, so for me i think its not a good thing to mix them.

I have 8 geophagus about 15cms, thinking of getting some baby frontosa up to 10cm They may well survive but due to the differing water conditions each of these species requires, you won't be doing either any favours. Much better to stick to having fish sharing a tank that come from similar conditions in nature.

Th0mas
Anyone who understands their requirement differences won't do it. There are those who performs such practice (and stick to it) are either ignorant or newbie. At the end, it's really up to you to decide how you treat your fish. Good luck.
