Colfish
put an egg crate divider in the tank, untill he gets used to having her in his territory, or send him on a holiday and let the f/male have the tank for a while, untill she finds a safe place to call her own
kilroy
I've found that after about 12 beers the male will usually pluck up enough courage to introduce himself to the female
oakes
I've found that after about 12 beers the male will usually pluck up enough courage to introduce himself to the female Makes the water cloudy though. Seriously domestic violence should not be tolerated. The divider sounds like a good idea. Adding several females to spread aggression would also be better, but your tank may not be large enough. I have no personal experience with that species to be sure.

dobbin4
Cols idea is a good one but you are better off with more than one female and then send him into the girls tank, plenty of caves some pvc pipe rocks will help also.
