seth
Hi, Just wondering what you guys think with regards to what is the best air pump to get. I need one for my 6x2x2. I'll probably need 3 lines into the tank plus one into my water change tank. I'd prefer to go with a single unit, but if I have to double up that shouldn't be a problem. I want a good quality pump which is quiet as. Cheers Seth
Lee Miller
Hi Seth, I've tried a few air pumps but the best, in my opinion, is the Schego brand. Their biggest is the M2K3 which does 350 l/h from a single outlet, I've got two running - one does six air stones and the other does eight. Schego are quiet and efficient. The M2K3 retails for about $70. Cheers, Lee.

Same wattage from memory just belts out the air and at even greater depths. Can't remember the exact details as I'm at work, but it may have a similar LPH just does it at greater preasure. I've changed all my M2K3 over on my big tank. Schego by far make the best small air pumps. Craig
CThompson
Schego M2K3 240v 50 Hz 5 watt 300 l/h Schego WS3 220-240v 50 Hz 5 watt 350 l/h That extra 50 l/h really belts out extra air at the bottom of a tank over a meter deep.
