fishrocks
Hi, first is both eyes or one, plus could you let us know what your water peramiters are as there are a few things that can cause this. i changed prob 40% of water last week and i was also moving some of my other geos to another tank. not sure if this is the cause. all my tapajos have at least got 1 eye clouded. not sure if any1 has experienced this before and if there is anything i could do to cure them.. i will try and get some pics of em.. this is the first time ive experienced this
robdog013
Hi, I have got a large male chipo bout 15cm and in one eye he has a small cloudy spot, hardly noticeable he seems really active and eats and breeds well, I think he may have just scraped his eye while swimming or something. I am not really worried about it..

Hi again,im pretty sure geos should be around 6.0-6.8,so if your ph is at 3.0 your at a really acid point ,try picking up the ph keep up with the malafix, see how that goes.By the way are they glanceing of anything at all.(bottom/rocks/plants etc). Old Dave
I changed prob 40% of water last week and i was also moving some of my other geos to another tank. not sure if this is the cause. all my tapajos have at least got 1 eye clouded. not sure if any1 has experienced this before and if there is anything i could do to cure them.. i will try and get some pics of em.. this is the first time ive experienced this Is your problem in both tanks? pH should not be so low. Sounds like you stressed you bio-cycle at the last WC. Water changes required NOW, but double check the new AGED/TREATED water before you add it to make sure it is OK first. This means Temp too! It might be useful to use some of the water from your other tank if it is healthy. Take water from the bottom of your tank where all the nastiest things exist, not the middle or top. Once you get the tank pH above 5 bring pH up slowly so you don't shock your already distressed fish. It is more important to have good water in the tank than a tank full of questionable water so less water could be better to start with. good luck
dobbin4
Ph 3 and 40% water change??? what happened !!! way to low , slowly ajust up or your going to lose them.Dont move them unless the ph is about the same , keep in same tank and ajust.
