mcsx
i think it would be better to run a standard 4ft for 2 4fters cos your running twice the water amount
david11
Hi It will be possible as long as you use fairly big bulk heads with clean entry to them. You need this as you don't want water building up in your tanks trying to push through the bulk heads. Higher water levels over your bulk head or stand pipe means more water that will eventually flow down into your sump if you get a power failure. Providing you bulk heads are big enough water will flow straight through and your water level will only meet the bottom of the bulk head or just over the top of your stand pipe. Also use a very small return hose or pipe. This will minimize power wasted to push the water up (higher return @ head height) as there is less water in the pipe & less water in the pipe also equals less that will flow back into the sump in the event of failure. You can get away with very small sumps by doing these couple of things. Cheers, David
