KIMO
Has any one tried epsom salts in their tank to treat possible bloat??? Is it best to treat the whole tank or remove individuals and treat in a bucket/container? Any advise is greatly appreciated. KimO.

I have treated popeye with epson salts baths, with a mix of half tablespoon of salts to a 10litre bucket, (I used original aquarium water) for 15-20 min, over three days this worked for the popeye (1 bath a day)
KIMO
Thanks for the reply a.t.a. I want to try epson salts first to try to flush their system out before going in to more "heavy" medications. thanks again, KimO.
Josh
Epsom salts will not cure bloat. If you think your fish has bloat use the proper drugs to fix it. The secret to being sucessful when treating bloat is to get it early. If you waste time treating with things that might not work then you may miss your window of oportunity to beat it. KIMO
Thanks Josh- good advise. In your opinion is it worth trying to treat a 4-5 cm e.yellow??? ie: economics. All the other fish seem ok. KimO.
