Chilli Powder
Here are some pics of caudo eggs and fry. Very hard to photograph the fry! There is another female that spawns on the other side of the rock and all the fry come together and swim. electricyellowz
Cool photos! I would have thought they would have put the eggs in further. Ben

brucem
Well done. Nice photos. Can you tell us a little about your tank setup? How big, are the caudo's on their own? Bruce

Rumpig
Good stuff Arj! Interesting to see them spawing in a shell, I have heard that they mainly spawn in caves. Mick
Chilli Powder
Hi Mick, All of mine have spawned in shells! This is surprisingly a largish apple snail shell I think. But generally they prefer bigger shells! Bruce, this is a 6x2x18 tank that holds my gold occies, some buesheri, calvus, gold comps and my colony of ps elongatus chewere. It's setup as a 'comfortable' tank for the fish. Not setup for breeding although my occies, caudos and gold comps constantly spawn. I don't take the fry out.
