Hi all,just like to share some pics of my new tank.

Only been up and running for 3months built cabinet and filter myself.

measurements of tank is 5ft by2ftx2 1/2deep.

filter 4ft tank i turned into sump filter is pumped by 3000lph pump.

What other fish are you planning on putting in?

Thanks ben,not sure yet i wouldn't mind some royal whiptails

or maybe some tropheus or discus carnt decide?

Nice tank.

Thats alot of water in the sump.

Do you have enough space for water to fill in just incase theres a blackout ?

Imo you don't need that much gap for water to go under the baffles.

If it does the job then :thumb

yes its been drained a bit since.

Not sure about baffles,first one iv'e built, but it sure does the job thanks.

awesome dimentions for a display tank that

I have to say though, the lack of a background is letting down how spectacular is really is

very nice display , and go the royals they are spectacular and if you get them to breed even better as they seem to be in demand , only thing its missing is a background

Thanks guys was just going to let the back ground turn green with alge,as its very hard to clean there.Like it natural as possible.

Can anyone help me out with some royal whiptails would be great,so hard to find.
