kilroy
The title should be Aqua Clears Vs other HOB's. They are great little filters, I have a 110(500) and it is a great little filter. One drawback is you can't put them too close to the substrate or sand can be sucked in and your motor will stop. The other drawback is that they don't fit a lot of tanks with more than 2 or 3cm of brace. I had to cut some of the plastic supports away to get it to fit my 5x2 because it has about 5cm of brace. If its clear sparkling water you want, you can't go past these babies!!!
antz
ive been happy with both ac500 and 300. (just the sand thing is annoying and also overflows) and ive have no issues with aquanova.. smaller model does 600L/per hr. other brands no idea.
