m0oks
My mate doesn't have time anymore due to work issues to keep his 5yr Red devil male and wanted to give it to me instead of the lfs. Is a 4x18x20 tank to small for him to live in?
electricyellowz
How big is he? Will he be in with any other fish?
Ash
I keep a 3 1/2yo 25+cm male in a 4x14x18 & he's happy enough, though in smaller tanks (during maintainence/tank shortages) he gets all agro & upset, so I'd say this is the minimum size you could consider long term. Nothing else can live with him of course & yes bigger would be better. Unless the one you are looking at is a 35cm monster I'd say the 4x18x20 would be fine for him all by himself. Ash
his the 4x14x18 no, in the smaller tanks yes. I can pat him & hand feed him when he's comfortable & happy, when he gets stressed he goes evil
