Surinamensis you won't find in Australia,Brasiliensis shouldn't be to hard to find as they are usually about in good numbers(well they are on the Gold Coast and Brisbane anyway).

As for my wish list, well :toohard:

Ctenochromis horei :wub

Chromidotilapia guntheri loennbergii

And I don't think anyone on the planet could resist a few L046 Hypancistrus zebra if they more accesible :( .

One day......Maybe...... :cryblow: .

Bretto

BTW, It's not always just a pipe dream. Untill recently I could only dream about keeping Cyathopharynx furcifer “Cape Kabogo”, Lamprologus meleagris and Lamprologus speciosus, but now, thanks to ACE and it's members, I have all three :).

Some hard fish to get hmmmm......

Puntius denisonii - CITES

Betta macrostoma - CITES

Pterophyllum altum "Rio Orinoco" - Just hard to get

Microraspora sp. "galaxy" - was thought to be almost extinct until more populations were found.

Hypancistrus zebra - CITES? Retsricted/No harvesting at least.

Hypancistrus sp. "L250" - only 8 officially exported ever and the river they come from is so poluted they are probably extinct

Check them out, they are all beautiful fish :thumb

Those cacatoides are the wild caught variety. Anyone which has a quaratine room or any store which has quarantine can get them in, as they are allowed to be imported into OZ. You should may about $90 absolute max for a wildcaught adult pair.

I know slippery little suckers had a shipment of them not so long ago.

HTH

Mike.
