Back ground for a 4.2.2

hey everyone

i have been curious about the background that stick onto the inside of the glass and look like rocks and have little caves and bits coming off them , and i was just wondering how hard are these to put onto the tank and how much would i be looking at to buy one for a 4 by 2 by 2

any info would be great cheers

They aren't that hard to put on.The universal rock backgrounds are flexible and will go into the tank with a little bending. You need a tube of silicone to apply on the background making sure that you put some on the areas that make contact with the glass. (Use aquarium safe Silicone only.)

I wouldn't say it was dead easy but it's definitely far from being hard! Things that I learnt in the process:

* Don't be afraid to use too much silicon, it's better than finding a fish behind the background at a later date.

* Make sure you clean up the excess silicon before it dries!

* Be very careful getting the background into the tank, I ended up with a number of nasty scratches being careless.
