Scales Peeling off

Hi All!,

I have a E.Blue that i have for some time and now its scales are comming off the top of it head, there is a darker patch around the scales near the affected area and a very small dark ring around its mouth.

i dont have any pics yet as its very hard to get a good shot of the dammage.

i do weekly water changes about 25- 30%

i know there is not a lot of info but can some one give me some ideas,

Could it be from fighting?

I know one of my blues from time to time loses scales from fighting a peacock and I seperate him and put him in a tank with melafix.

But the photos will help alot if you can get them.
