robdog013
Hi GUys I have approx 20 BN fry about 1cm long, they are free swimming and are in a fry tank, I have tried to feed them zuchini, pumpkin, cucumber and even fry ground powder. They dont eat? I can't tell how old they are can anyone offer me some input, perhaps thay are still too young to eat, they sick to the glass at the top of the tank and hardly move. Matthew
I'll try that tonight and see how it goes, I already tried fresh zuccini and microwave sweet potato but they dont swarm on it G'day It sometimes takes them a little while to gear up and start swarming onto the food. When they are older they will. Give them a little time. Keep the water parameters stable and remove any uneaten food. Remeber they are only little and their bellies are very small. cya Matthew
limegirl
Frozen peas, mate! Put them in hot water for about three minutes. Pinch them out of their shells and drop them in! Simple. Also, if they are sticking around he top of the water it may be that you need to add an airstone or more current to oxygenate the water a little more. Would not worry two much about them little fellows ,just now all off mine headed two the top off the glass. They still suck on the glass for food, they will get hungry enough two start looking for food all around the tank. just keep the food coming they will find. Change it every second day for fresh food.
