I have no idea how it could happen, I havnt done anything new to the tank. A friend suggested it could be bladder problem..if so how can I possibly treat it ? Its so hard to watch her and not do anything about it. PLEASE HELP ASAP! any suggestions would be very much appreciated. thanks so much.
electricyellowz
If there is a bladder problem I dont think there is anything you can do. Maybe you should check your water peramitors just incase there is an ammonia spike. Is gasping for air at the surface of the water? WHen was the last time you did a water change? Its not gasping for air, it just stays at the bottom of the tank. But when i feed it he swims normally to get the food and then goes sideways again. I did a water change last night and i'm planning to do one today. thanks.
Ash
Keep the water in A1 tip top condition & hopefully the fish will heal itself.
Ozboc
Had the same thing -- ended up also with white spot -- lost all 30 fish in the tank with exception of 4 cat fish ..... damn good fish too -- very tame -- could hand feed them all -- and they actually watched tv also -- they would all gather down at one end and all look at the tv when there was a movie on with a lot of special effects Boc
