tangaman Posted June 23, 2007 Share Posted June 23, 2007 Almost ,every time my pair start to breed the male gets far too agressive and I have to remove him before he does too much damage!Im looking for another one or two females! to eze the agressiveness. Mattnshez Posted June 24, 2007 Share Posted June 24, 2007 hey mate i have got a tank full of geo red hump fry at the moment from 2cm to 6-7 cm trying to get them to breed any tips to kick them into gear i am more then happy to share any success around i bought them all about 6 months ago but the colony had already been sold so i settled for the fry instead i would attach a pic but am still unsure of how to upload them cheers Matt Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Citypainter Posted June 24, 2007 Share Posted June 24, 2007 Matt they are still a bit too small. Keep them fed and watch their behaviour. The males red hump will increase in size and colour when he is ready to spawn. the females will need plenty of cover but will pair off when ready to build a nest or prepare a spawning site.
