mitch9 Posted June 20, 2007 Share Posted June 20, 2007 Hi Guys I'm setting up a 450lt tank and am thinking of a mix of fish that goes something like this: 6-7 frontosa, 4 electric yellows, 2 alto compressiceps, 2 Cyrtocara moorii, and 3 n. venustus. Just wondering if this tank sounds overstocked to you guys? Will these fish be compatible? Any suggestions on other more appropriate fish or general comments would be greatly appreciated. oakes Posted June 20, 2007 Share Posted June 20, 2007 Is that a 4x2x2? It does sound very heavily stocked. I am not an expert having kept only a couple of the species you mention but you are also mixing Tangs & Malawis which is not generally advisable and usually ends up being to the detriment of the Tangs, especially at feeding time.
