SPANNA
Hi all, As I have never posted fish before I was wondering how it all works. Do you have to go thru a certain delivery service (courier etc), what is the cost (ball park), how many fish/plecs do you put in the bag (or is there a better way of shipping), is it COD, or any other questions I should have asked but haven't. Cheers Spanna
Cory Fan
Do you have to go thru a certain delivery service (courier etc),what is the cost (ball park), depends on where u sending to, u can use Fastway (courier) to some nearby city but might not be a good way of sending fish in winter though. You will need to buy a booklet of 10 stickers from them which will cost u ard $120 for 10 red stickers. The driver will come to pick up the box from you and will deliver to ur buyer door. Otherwise you can use AAE or Virgin to freight them, will cost u atleast $60 depends on where u freight them and the weight/size of the box. U need to bring the box to the airport and the buyer will need to collect it from their airport. how many fish/plecs do you put in the bag (or is there a better way of shipping), depends on what size fish and what size bag, u will need to atleast double bag them and need to put pure oxygen in the bag, u can try ur lfs and see if they willing to bag them for u. is it COD, or any other questions I should have asked but haven't. I personally prefer they pay u first b4 u send them the fish

huzzy
It is a lot of effort, and the additional stress on the fish sometimes means you dont get the number you ordered/payed for. Which creates other arguements of who should cop the loss, the sender or the buyer? However, if you have your heart set on something rare and you can only source it from another state or far away, then what choice do you have?
