Hi I have common, albino and peppermint bn and was wondering what waffers/discs people believed provided the best nutritional diet for bn catfish.

Also what vegetables are everyone feeding their catties?

Any info would be greatly appreciated

Cheers Eddie

I'm feeding my common BN a mixture of NLS large fish formula (3mm round pellets, not flat discs), Wardley Algae discs (they prefer the NLS actually but I've got a bit of these left) and for fresh stuff pumpkin & zucchini.

I'm planning on getting NLS H2O stable wafers, because the Wardley ones puff up & cloud the tank.

Ancistrus species are herbevorus......

Therefore you should be feeding them an all vege wafer! You will find that most of the products on the market contain animal products as their main source of protien.

Try Wardleys it is a total veges wafer!!

Apart fromt the usual plethera of fresh vegies, the main wafer I use is sera with the wood chip additive. Doesn't cloud and they seem to relish them.
