C.leptosoma + X.flavapinnis breeding

Hi All ... I have A community tank with C. leptosoma and X. flavapinnis both breeding...will the fry of each be safe if spat in this tank or will I need to separate the holding females...difficult with the Xenos as they are bi-parental...comments gratefull please....

Hi Peter,

I think they wil be fine, there may be a little canabilism to start but once the adults mature, more fry will survive. I suggest to get the baby brine shrimp going.

:thumbup: Congrats on breeding those beautiful species. You could always hatch the eggs artificially using an egg tumbler for grater fry survival rate. But it is best initially to let them pratice the natural way.
