Mbuna
i was wondering why photos of Ps. flavus by Ad Konings do not show blue colouring around the face where as other photos of aquarium specimens show the blue colouring. Is this because of difference in location? also does anybody have photos of the flavus we have here in Aus. thanks Harry

BaZ
This is one of my young ones, the colouring gets better as they get older. The blue seems to be a mood thing, sometimes it is there, sometimes it is not. But even when it is there it is very faint, kinda like a blue sheen. ViS
Here are mine about 4-5 months ago. The males have since grown much bigger and display brighter yellow (and darker black when spawning). The photos don't show much blue, but in the flesh they show quite a bit of blue in the face.
