nels87_o_O
What size tank are they in? If its atleast a 3ft they'll be fine. Catch it in a fortnight and you'll have fry.
Ben
As soon as she lays the eggs she will pick them up in her mouth and carry them for about 3 weeks. They are a mouth brooding cichlid. Just let them go....They will be fine.

onlyme
No they'll be right. Like what was said above, hook the girl out in about 2 weeks and isolate her in a basket or a small tank and you will get babies. Craig.
Ant
Unless she swallows them of course, you'll notice she will have a full mouth and she wont be eating. If she starts eating again, she dosn't have her babies any more. Anthony
Mazimbwe
hmmm...just take a deep breath and relax. These fish have been doing this for thousands of years with all kinds of predators and natural problems to contend with. Just sit back and enjoy...and when the tank-light goes out start reading a book or a few articles about General Cichlid info. HTH
