grizzlie
There is a tropical fish shop which has gone bankrupt down here at Kiama, has very large fish room, holding /stand construction/maintenance area. Anybody interested in restarting it ,has off street parking for four or five cars. Could be a little goldmine for someone interested in a lifestyle change. I hate to see it going to waste,if interested come and have a look its in Manning Street,Kiama. Very large area, leased from Railways.
Ben
Great place Kiama. Spent every school holidays there from year 1 to year 12. Wasn’t all that heavily into fish at that stage so don’t know the shop but there can’t be to many aquariums down there to compete with.
Bit Racer
Yes totally I agree - it is a beautiful place. Only every time I visit the place the blow hole ain't blowing. Nice fish and chips on the wharf too.
grizzlie
No opposition now ,the young guy that used to handle all that stuff is selling up his aquarium related gear and concentrating on fishing rods ,angling gear, etc. Couldnt move in his shop over the holidays for people buying fishing gear!! Next closest Albion Park, fifteen minutes away,Nowra twent minutes away. Its a shame to see such a good set up go to waste. Anybody interested its called "Tanks of Gold"in Manning Street, next to the Kiama Medical centre.

fiona
Would be interesting to know the reason for the business's demise. It was probably cash flow problems due to poor record keeping and forecasting. That's by a long way the main reason for the demise of small businesses (and the reason why *so many* otherwise sound businesses go under). You'd have to do some research but could be an earner!
