Scienceman
My wife wants a compact digital but I have read a lot of good reports about this mini - DSLR, and its no bigger than a regular 35mm film camera. It seems to have a good combination of automatic functions for simple photography as well as manual settings to give me something to play around with. It has a Leica 12X lens that should put it streets ahead of any compact digital camera for picture quality. 5MP means reasonable definition but with the high zoom should mean minimal cropping and loss of quality. Also has a image stabilisation and a good macro mode which is important for fish work. Camera House have it for $639 which seems like a competitive price. Any comments?
