Nigel
I use a solution of 50% alcohol and 50% distilled water and a good window scraper with a new razer blade in it.
hardb0iled
I've used a vinegar/salt paste to scrub a dirty old tank, give it a good once over with that and then rinse it all down with water. Came up pretty good. PS. definitely use a razor blade/scraper to help with some of the stubborn bits
mianos
As Wui does, I cover them in white vinegar on the show floor and leave them for about 10 minutes. I then give it a bit of a scrub with a plastic washing pad and rinse them off It works amazingly well. They finish up like new.
