ViS
I'll give it a go. Send it to me (vis(at)exemail.com.au) and I'll post it up here for others to save and have a go of as well. You can pick the one you like best out of our efforts.

Ben
You will have to show me how to do that one day. I tried last night..... I don't have the patients to read the manual.
ViS
As you can see I rushed it a bit. A few of the curves are not curvy

BaZ
You remind me of a train driver I was talking to the other day... Woman: Does this train go to Kingswood? Driver: Yes, it does. The train ended up going right through Kingswood and the next stop was Penrith. I guess she asked the wrong question too huh?
Matty
Ok, this is how. I learnt this technique off Budi (as he has explained it in a previous thread) You select the "magnetic lasso" tool and trace around the object. You may need to fiddle with the settings on the toolbar at the top of the page. Once you have it selected (i.e. the outline is moving) click "Select" and then "Inverse" (or Shft+Ctrl+I). This will highlight the background. Now click on "Filter" - "Blur" -> "Radial Blur..." Once that window appears, click on "Zoom" as your Blur Method and adjust the amount as necessary. You can swap from the highlighted background back to the object by clicking "Deselect" or "Ctrl+D" I also played around with the saturation of the background, The contrast of the object and sharpness of the object. fman
Jason I've kept it pretty simple - left some room on the left for all your icons. I wanted to write the species on the image, but had no idea what it is. I can adjust the colour if it's too gold as well. This is a small image. If you like it, I can email the original in a bigger format. Cheers, Frank
