Eddie Salita
I've heard good and bad things about his tanks. Some have lasted very well, some have not. I have seen them at the markets, but have not yet bought one. If he gives you a written guarantee, you cant really lose hey. They will have sharp edges though. Hope this helps you a little bit. BaZ
If he gives you a written guarantee, you cant really lose hey. ← Written guarantee is fine to have, but it also might not be worth another trip from Wollongong to Caboolture if one of the tanks springs a leak
wui39
Transport would be a bit difficult as well I think. Are these the ones that are really cheap on Ebay?

mickvick
Russ IMO the tanks are poor quality. They have been slapped together really quickly, so some are ok while others dont stack up. IMO not worth the savings. When your talking large volumes of water and glass, its too dangerous and costly to try and cut corners. I bought two a while ago - one leaked. On closer inspection, there was a gap of up to 2mm where the glass panels did not meet. His response was not to replace them but to fill the gap with more silicone. I dont fill them all the way up anymore and i'm waiting for them to fail again. I have since heard of one other of his tanks having the front panel 'pop-off'. Needless to say, it would have been a big mess and a lot of dead fish. Personally, I will not touch them again. Michael
hardb0iled
If your only after 2 and 3 foot tanks, thats not a lot of water really, as long as they are just for stock holding, whats the worst that can happen on a tank that size, if it springs a leak, slap some silicon on it and she'll be right. If it was a 4'x2' or larger I'd be more worried about the build quality, if a seam lets go on one that size your in trouble! It really depends on what its to be used for and if possibly repairing a seam leak or 2 is worth the money you save on the original purchase - for me it would be
