dobbin4
E / yellows {not blues they will crossbreed with the peacocks} Other Lab's should be fine, just for a couple !! do a search to study so many more.

dobbin4
Acei would be ok but the colbolts would be to hard on the peacocks, I reckon.
brendon
yeh , what about some other type of mbuna , what is a more calm species , that isnt to agreesive ?
GTR73
P.saulosi are pretty placid for an Mbuna, and sell well with the male and females being different colourations and the fry a nice orange/yellow. Acei are pretty cool too but be sure not to put Acei and Saulosi together as both are Pseudotropheus and could cross breed. In a 4ft I'd also have 1 male to a few females for any one species. Might not be enough room in there for 2 males of any one species. HTH.
dobbin4
Not to many mbuna are calm or un aggressive, its a 4x2x2 so I would have no probs with moe than one male. add some caves etc pvc pipe, hmmmmm the acei Msuli point should be fine.
Patto
I thought that Acei's were pretty agressive??? Even for Mbuna's. I had Cobalts and Saulosi's in the same tank and the Saulosi's were much more agressive to the smaller fish. The Cobalts were the biggest in the tank as well.
