CThompson
I'd go for daffodil too, because of the body colour. Normally brichardi group have strong markings around the gill area which is what you look for to identify them. In this case these gill area markings are almost absent which implies to me that the fish has a possibly mixed history. That is, not a good fish to breed from. Nooks
I agree totally with CThompson. I kept daffodils for years. The body colouring says n. pulcher, the gill markings make it ambiguous. Nick.
rae
Thanks for that everyone. I got a couple but they are only for a display tank not breeding, they look pretty good I just wanted to get a little more info about their behaviour and interaction with their other "tang" tank mates. Thanks again Rae
wui39
That's not mine is it? I thought mine had a little more colour than that one, although it doesn't quite have the patterning on the body. Are they settling in okay?
rae
Hi Wui Nah that's not yours just a similar pic that I "googled" up when having a look last night. Your's are a true Daf Brichardi from what I can see more of a bronze body with golden fins and black checks. They have settled in well and look great, I'm very happy with them - thanks Rae
