TropheusQueen
Hi there, If her fins are intact it is most probably a blown swim bladder I have never had a fish recover from this ailment). I have had fish with similar symptoms recover and put this down to an infection. You may want to keep an eye on her for a little while longer but she probably requires your help to put her out of her misery. Cheers Aline

teflon
Yeah its never a pretty site when you have to put a fish down. But its better that she's dead rather then being in a bad state for the next couple of weeks. Just make sure its humane. BTW Drowning her wont work (Bad joke i know)
darkmuncan
sorry to hear mate, out of interest, what is the most humane way to put a fish down?
teflon
All depends on prefrence. Some people like to freeze fish, some like to throw them at a brick wall, drop a brick on the fishes head, pour boiling water over the fish. I would say freezing them is probably the best i have heard of so far HTH Cheers Adam EDIT:Grammar mistake
