D6C1
Hello, I got my black convict pair laying eggs again. However, they are doing it in a communal tank. What are the chances of moving the eggs and mum to another tank filled with the same water? The eggs are stuck on the roof of an upturned little clay pot. I would like to raise some convicts. I have let the previous lots get eaten, but now i want some fry :D Thanks, Toufic
benno
Ive actually done it before and it has worked. But it may just depend on the individual fish but theres nothing saying you shouldnt give it a go. Plus even if it fails the convicts i can just about guarantee will breed again in the next few days so you will be able to try again. Maltese_falcon
ey, your best bet is to get a plate or a dish of some sort. lift up the clay pot slightly, slip the dish under the pot and then move the eggs. that way you keep all your eggs, but you will have to do it quickly tho. and convicts, well they breed as much as possible so you will have a second chance at it
