Macro advice needed

Recommended Posts

user posted image

Hey guys, check this pic, I cant seem to get one, especially of the bristlenose, taken in complete focus..

Its always blurry at the end where his tail is..

Any advice to overcome this or is it the way my camera uses macro?

Its a DSC-707 sony cybershot btw..

The camera is probably using a small f.stop number which means a smaller depth of field.

If you can change modes, change it to A mode (Apperture priority) and set the value of A to as high as it can go.

The downside of this is that you will need a longer exposure time, so a tripod might be needed. Or you can bump up the ISO to 400 which can cause the image to seem noisey.
