Cleaning hands for fish tank use

Hey Guys,

I was wondering how you guys wash your hands so you can put them in your tanks??? Currently I have to wait for a day when im not working, and get straight out of bed in the morning and do tank maintenance before I do anything else. This is ratehr limiting to about 1 or 2 days a week when I can do anything to my tank.

Don't think there is a better way, but I thought I would ask.

usually the best way is just to make sure you rinse your hands a couple of times after using soap. when I say rinse, I mean wash em, let em dry then rinse em under water a little while after. I do it that way and have no problems at all.

The other option you can use is a solution of 70% ethanol & water. (Used when working for aquaculture hatchery) That's if you want to be really finicky though. I use it, but I'm pretty anal about my tanks & fish cos I am building breeding tanks/broodstock for eventual commercial use. HTH

I say change jobs or change hobby - oh that might be a bit harsh... sorry.

but then again if you are Plumber and you got you hands in the sewer all day - How do you eat your sandwiches/pie at lunch - you do wash your hands?
