My Frontosa bred

Hey everyone, remember me?

One of my frontosa which I would estimate is barely 9cm long has a mouthfull. I thought it was just a little male because I have another definite female and a relatively big male. The other female which is at least one year older and about 4-5 inches hasn't bred yet so this came as a surprise.

I don't think it will be viable though as the female is separated from the male by perspex with holes in it because it was getting chased too much by the male. They must have been keen to breed through that.

I'll see how it goes. How long will it be before I can tell if the eggs have been fertilised or not and should I strip them either way? I don't have an egg bubbler.

Thanks

the eggs will hatch in about 3-4 days youll know if there fertile because if shes holding after this time her brood pouch will be about half the size, one way or another id not strip her , holding imprints well on her, and shes got the expirience for next time, good luck, fronts are one of my favourites
