slotha
Hi all, i left a full pack of blood worms out over night and it was a pretty hot night. I put them back in the freezer after about 16hrs. Would they be harmful to the fish now or would they be alright. Thnaks Tim

Lunatic_Mirage
Not sure personally, but everytime I do the same I just throw out the pack. I don't want to risk it. But hopefully people on here can prove me wrong so that I might be able to save some money in the future
Ash
I think the rule of thumb for human food would apply. If they are warm bin em, still cold but defrosted then "in theory" ok. I'd say 16hrs is way too long
r.d.m
i personally wouldnt feed my fish anything i wouldnt eat(within reason) and $2.00 for a pack of bloodworms ? not worth the risk, give them to next doors cat
Serial-Cichlid
Everybody has already said not to risk it. Leaving frozen foods out was something I used to do alot mainly because the garage/fishroom is separate from the house and I would just simply forget. One thing I did to prevent/reduce this happening was get a little barfridge with a freezer compartment in the fishroom. Now all frozen foods and vegetables are available without having to run up and down the backyard. Simply feed the fish and place the food back in the freezer. This is also very advantageous in winter time. Imagine running around the house with frozen food in your hands. Not exactly a warm feeling. Other pros: Keep your beer or soft drinks in the fridge and you can grab a cold one anytime especially with summer coming up. Cheers Paul

Sunk two coldies today downstairs watching my fish.
