wiLL
if the 6x2x2 is only going to be home to the saratoga the filtration is more than enough with the sump and 2 aquaclears and the tank should be enough for it to live a very long and happy life wiLL

Guest african-au
size & filter is great peter-gun-riff just dont pile a heap of rocks in your 6x 2 x 2 allow heaps of swimming space & you and your saratoga will be happy feed your saratoga good food & you will be rewarded good luck chris

Tam
kids these days arowanas i think are better off with a bare tank much easier to do water changes and therefore better for its health.. but it looks good from your artistic drawing just be careful with the wood in the middle being not too high as they are surface dwellers and can injure themself if they get spooked / chasing feeders. tam
Peter_Gun_Riff
yeah ill make sure of that i might have the val more spread out so he/she can weave through etc but i cant wait to get him
graceless
This isnt' totally related. but i love you val idea. i have a young colony of dimis in a standard 4 footer, and i have val bordering 3 sides of the tank, just not along the front. for the dimis, it stops them from ramming the glass (they get a bit of speed on them, then end up with sore looking bumps on their chins!). i also have random scatterings of different val in the tank (sand substrate, so it grows like mad), and they love weaving and swimming through it. It makes looking at the tank even more hypnotic. BRING BACK THE VAL - it's the best aquatic plant ever. Grace
