Tank rockwork

For some reason I have never been able to get a good picture of the rockwork in my 3x3x2 tank. My camera simply doesn't seem to have enough punch to get through all that glass and water, and the shots turn out very dark.

My cousin was around on Sunday night and he a horribly expensive-looking digital camera with him, and he was mucking around taking pics of my tank.

Yes, I know the glass is dirty. And yes, the fish are out of focus. And yes, the sump needs topping up so there are lots of ugly bubbles being blown around which ruin the shots.

I know these pics are nothing special compared to the works of art normally posted here, but I was so happy to have some nice rock pics, I just had to share blush.gif

Both shots are of the same tank, taken from different sides.

In the second pic you get a better idea of how high the rocks go. They end up being about 10cm short of the surface.

The tank is in a corner, with 2 viewing panels. The rocks are a pile in the back corner, and behind them you can see the overflow and return pipe.

It's all sandstone, bought for $30 from a landscape materials outlet about 4 years ago.
